Product Use
Sodium cyanide mainlyapplied to withdraws the gold,the silver from the ore (hydrometallurgy) metallurgy, galvanization, refined chemicalindustry, medicine intermediate, pesticide intermediate and so on.
Sodium cyanide is animportant chemical raw material. Its main function in machinery is as quencherfor various steels. It’s a main part of plating liquids for copper, gold,silver, cadmium, zinc, etc. In mining,
it’s used to extract such cherish metalsas gold, silver, etc.
In chemical industry, it’s a raw material for producingplexiglass, various abio-cyanatries and hydrocyanic acid,acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber, synthetic fibre. In dyestuff industry, it’sused for producing cyanuric chloride (medium of active dyestuff and rawmaterial of brightening agent). In pharmaceutical industry, it’s used forproducing vitamin, lactic acid, caffeine, nophylline, monosodium glutamate(MSG), cyanoacetic acid methyl ester, malonic acid. In feedstuff, it’s used forproducing amonophenol feedstuff additive. Sodium cyanide is used directly toproduce sodium ferrocyanide, potassium cyanide, zinc cyanide, barium cyanide,cuprous cyanide, sodium thiocyanate, potassium thiocyanite, potassiumferricyanide, iron blue, methionine, and so on.
