placehydrolysis with water in certain temperature,The commercial dichloromethaneoften contains stabilizer in order
to prevent decomposition.
Usage:
Dichloromethane has strong solubility and notoxicity,used formanufacturing safety film and orthocarbonate and use
for solvent ofpaint,cleaner for metal, gas-fog spray agents,polyurethane foamingagent,mold-release agent,paint
remover.Dichloromethane is also use in themanufacture of photographic film and has been used to remove caffeine
fromcoffee.also approved for use as a postharvest fumigant for grains andstrawberries and as a degreening agent
for citrus fruit.
